In at least the last decade concerns about environment destruction, hazard, and catastrophe caused by human have been widely campaigned throughout the world. Researches are conducted, statistics presented, prevention alternatives suggested. You might have seen, read, or heard about it.

The results are clear, the message brought out, and the mission set. But at the end of the day the big question remains, “What can we do?”.

Those, individual and/or institutional, have made some brave and sometimes risky movements to support this noble cause. The ban of plastic bags, big tax charges for high waste products, and recycle programs are only some of the courageous acts. Yet, we believe there will always be room for improvement and there is no such thing as too much when it gets to the existence of human being and this planet we are living in.

As for us, we can start right at home, in our daily lives. Small things like grocery shopping unconsciously affects the number of waste produced. Paper bags are not safe because it reduces our green area. Certainly plastic bags are even more perilous. It can take up to a century to destroy one! This proves further that irresponsible and unrestrained consumption of plastic is the consequence of many destruction of nature.

Use safe, efficient, and, most importantly, reusable bags. Using this bag will help in decreasing, if not eliminating plastic waste which has become an unsolved problem for our community.

This observation inspired us to create myPoPbag, a key ring bag that is unique, useful and, of course, nature-friendly. We truly hope that this bag will spark interest, trigger awareness, and eventually start a dignified ongoing trend.
